Amid the swell of diversity and inclusion driving the fashion industry, CR Fashion Book is forging a new standard. For its 10th issue, CR’s editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld pens a love letter to her home city Paris, using faces of the industry to reveal the City of Lights as a cultural epicenter and more than just a cliché, “I wanted to show Paris through my eyes, the way I know it and love it, the Paris that makes you dream. It was important for me to show the development of Paris, full of emerging talent. Paris is not just a city of tourists, it’s alive and vibrant.”
Halima Aden and Paris Jackson, both shot by Mario Sorrenti, represent that vibrancy as faces on the dual cover issue. This marks their first-ever fashion magazine covers. The two are joined by Gucci Mane who covers CR Men’s Book, shot by Terry Richardson.
