Designers to Watch GRAMMY'S EDITION

Every season, award show red carpets showcase plenty of pretty, though ultimately expected, dresses from the same design houses year after year. Yet the Grammy Awards always seem to inspire attendees to take the more daring route and to play with their fashion choices. Below, we've rounded up a small sampling of new talent as seen on some of our favorite people:

Gauri & Nainika
Known for their romantic and feminine pieces, Gauri & Nainika draw inspiration from their native India, coupled with Western references like Old Hollywood. With their elegant draping and use of rich but simple color, as seen on Tori Kelly below, these New Delhi-based designers are a pair to watch.

Yousef Al-Jasmi
Originally from Kuwait, Yousef Al-Jasmi is a  couture designer with a penchant for luxurious details, as evidenced from Chrissy Teigen's elaborate Grammy look complete with crystal-encrusted cape. Al-Jasmi's work ranges from ornate one-of-a-kind pieces to more readily wearable options.

Norisol Ferrari
With both Colombian and Venezuelan influences, New York-based  Norisol Ferrari is all about the details. The mindful cuts, shapes, and fabrics of her creations come together to form commanding, powerful designs, like the one seen on Demi Lovato below.
