Taste Test Tacos Tu Madre


We could harp for days about LA’s expansive array of Mexican restaurant options. But, as it stands, some are simply better than others—which is just where we’d like to introduce you to Tacos Tu Madre. It’s hard to miss from the street, a brightly colored (but tiny) front on Westwood Boulevard with patterned walls offsetting white brick. Inside, you’ll find a sleek black-and-white design furnished with Edison light bulbs, bar style seating, and two main tables in the middle. This neighborhood gem in West LA will satisfy any taco craving for a price that is hard to match. But allow us to introduce the real stars here: the dishes. Here are our picks from the menu:
