Fashion month is over but the trends they have inspired are just beginning. Try out these 8 looks, two from each fashion capital, and you’ll be sure to turn heads. Just because they were worn on the runway doesn’t mean they should stay there.
Take your smokey eye to the next level by extending the smokiness and smudging to your water line. Apply mascara to both your top and bottom lashes and keep the rest of your make-up minimal. Add a thick leather headband for extra edge.
There’s no need to limit bold colors to the runway. For work choose two colors that complement your eye color or go a bit bold with purples and pinks for girls night out. Again, apply mascara to both your top and bottom lashes and keep the rest of your make-up minimal.
For either look use the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-effect Quadra eyeshadow. For the Tom Ford look, we’d recommend the 232 Tisse Venitien quad and for the Anna Sui look choose which quad allows you to play up your eye color and have some fun.
Bold brows are back and better than ever. Keep your makeup minimal so your brows can have center stage. Fill in with Clinique’s Superfine Line for Brows or Glossier’s Boy Brow. Blend to look natural with fingers.
Neon lips are an easy transition beauty trend for anyone to try out. Whether you’re going on a date or out to brunch with some friends, a bold lip is the easiest runway trend to try. For a neon orange, try Fenty Beauty’s Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in “exoctic orange” or Mac’s Pink Lipstick in “all fired up.”
A minimal white eyeshadow placed on the inner corners of your eyes is an instant pick-me-up better than coffee for when you’re feeling extra tired.Only use the eye shadow in the inner corners and on the lids and some mascara. Add a bit of blush to brighten up your cheeks and you’ll look bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in no time. Try Clinique’s Chubby Stick Shadow Tint for Eyes in “gold” or “bountiful beige” or Glossier’s Lidstar in “moon.”
#THELOOK #bts at @prada using Mother's all-new #MTHRSHP Subversive: La Vie En Rose eye palette ⚡️⚡️⚡️ #PradaFW18 @zambishot @ashleybrokaw #olivierrizzo Hair by @guidopalau #makeupbypatmcgrath #PMGHowTo — Define lash line with #MTHRSHP Subversive: La Vie En Rose eyeshadow in 'PURPLE REIGN' + 'ROSE RISQUÉ' and smoke out into a wing — Brighten inner corner of lower lash line with 'ROSE RISQUÉ' pigment — Embellish with @swarovski crystals. — Add a touch of mascara
Create a not-your average winged eye look with eyeshadow instead of liner. For the Prada show, make-up artist Pat McGrath used her new Mthrshp Subversive: La Vie En Rose palette and only costs $55 at Sephora so you can recreate the exact look. Add some stick-on crystals for a night on the town and you’ll surely standout.
A French twist on the waterline eyeliner look: a pop of color. Brush a charcoal eyeshadow on your lid and apply black mascara to both your top and bottom lashes. Finally choose a complementary color to your eyes, blue, green and purple work for all eye colors, and apply along your waterline. Try Estée Lauder’s Double Wear Stay-in-Place Eye Pencil in “electric cobalt” or Mac’s Technakohl Liner in “purple dash.”
Who doesn’t love a litter glitter? While the allover face look may only have a place on the runway, use glitter like a highlighter and apply along cheekbones for a fun new twist. Also brush into your hairlines and your Cupid’s Bow when you apply lip gloss for some extra fun. We’d recommend NYX Professional Makeup Metallic Glitter in whichever glitter blend catches your eye.
