Letter From The Editor SIGNING OFF FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Hello, Friend of a Friend readers!

I hope that as you're reading this, you're either at home with friends and family, or just about getting there. For me, the holiday season is a time to relax, spend time with those I care about, and eat plenty of cookies. It's also a time to reflect on the passing year, and evaluate the year to come. What am I looking forward to in 2016? What did I accomplish this past year?

A lot, actually. For one, I started this website. I was fearful at first to take the plunge, but with the help of my amazing team, we were able to create something that people can relate to and enjoy. If you get the chance to start that project you've been putting off, surround yourself with talented people and do it! That's my advice to you.

I'm proud of the work we've done, the content we've created, and the engaged readers we've gained—that's you! For everybody that's clicked here, bookmarked us, or visited us at one of our offline events, you have made this possible. Thank you for taking part in this wonderful journey.

Speaking of journey, we've got plenty ways to go. I'm so excited to find new guest editors who will continue to broaden our horizons and tells us amazing stories. It’s been such a thrill to not only meet these inspiring people in real life, but also introduce them to you through our eyes. Lastly, I’m eager to grow our team and expand our capabilities. I’m constantly meeting new people and by building my personal community, the Friend community grows as well. We’re excited to bring you better, more intimate and integrated content. The best is yet to come.

I can't wait to take you all along for the ride. For now, we're signing off until the New Year. See you in 2016...
